I don’t know about you guys but the news of Vera Wang reaching into flowers was like music to my ears. I am a huge fan of her designs and was intrigued to say the least… who better to get an insight into the trends for the season to come.

Floral trends this season have a strong focus on pale and pastel colours, with vintage designs and country garden inspired arrangements already marked as favourites.

Soft and creamy colour palettes are enhanced by large open flowers that have a quintessential country garden feel.

The other β€˜it’ colour on trend is purple, ranging from the softer lavenders and lilacs right through to the deeper, richer violets and indigos.

The style of the bridal bouquets seems to be one of two extremes, the more relaxed ‘just picked’ country garden feel versus a more structured, modern design.

Dusky pinks are definitely also ‘big’ this season and I think this colour promises to stay around.

I was also very excited to see a very similar Calla Lilly Wedding bouquet featured amongst her designs that I had for my own Wedding!!
